Before- Client wanted an updated look in her kitchen without changing the oak cabinets & floor.

Before- Home office located in career area. This home office lacked organization. The client felt most comfortable in the earth element, so gold tones were used.

After- Wallpaper was added along with storage, an aquarium, art & plants to balance the space. New carpet & crown molding were added as well.

Before- Goal was to create a sitting room for occasional business meetings & entertaining.

Before- This cluttered space was used to run a business. The client felt unorganized and forgetful when working in her home office. She often lost things and her business was not doing as well as she would have liked. Several items were broken or in some state of disrepair.

After- The office was rearranged according to Feng Shui principles using the furnishings the client already owned. Placing the desk and computer near the window, allowed for a view and was out of line with the doorway. Good task lighting was added to the desk. Two large filing cabinets were cleaned and organized. Wood blinds were added for privacy. Artwork and accessories symbolic of career and business goals were added. Credentials and accomplishments were strongly displayed (not visible in photo). End result: Client is now working happily in this office. Business has increased as well as her overall personal happiness and health.

Before- This client was not sleeping well or waking rested. The room was very crowded and dark. A large television (not visible in photo) was blocking the closet and a wooden trunk at the end of the bed blocked easy access to the bathroom and far side of the bed. Luggage and extra items were stored behind the head of the bed and underneath. The reading lamp was broken as were several small collectible items.

After- Several pieces of furniture were removed (television, one dresser, trunk from end of bed). Dark curtains from large window (not visible) were removed. To both windows we added sheers. Broken items were replaced and clutter cleared throughout the space. The walls were repaired and painted lavender, the client’s favorite color. Artwork and accessories were then added which had personal meaning. Several small plants to soften the space were incorporated as well. End result: sleeping and waking rested. Overall health, energy & happiness much improved.

Before- In their new sunny California home these clients wanted to create a bedroom that was warm & traditional, yet very relaxed and comfortable. They wanted to use Feng Shui principles in the design of the space.

After- The bed was positioned against a solid wall, away from the door. Two matching nightstands and lamps were added. Their favorite wedding photos hang in the relationship corner of the room and the picture over the bed depicts two large cats (male and female). These are all strong symbols of relationship in their space. To enhance the warm feel, the walls were painted gold. Phase two of this project will add top treatments to the windows on each side of the bed.
